#500

Today I want to share with you my takes of the weekly sketch of Freshly Made Sketches.  I needed a sympathy card and I wanted to use a Sketched Flowers set from SSS.  I decided to use the stamp on the entire surface of the card and only colour the central rectangle. Then I  did  a similar one but this time I wanted to pop out the central rectangle by using a coloured background.  So which one do you prefer?

Edit:
I want to thank Amy for featuring my card, it makes me very happy.

I love how you used the sketch to spotlight the center of that beautiful bouquet. The vellum sentiment is a wonderful soft look. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.

This is a wonderful way to use the sketch! Two spot light techniques, both pretty! I do think I favor the blue matted one just because the mat really makes your pretty florals pop. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!
